We had to feed a large family so placed 3 stock pots on stove in kitchen, got them to a rolling boil, and then placed the bags in for a few mins before loading in all the food. 1 lb precooked crawfish. Use it once then throw away or compost. Do you take the Zatarain's crab Boil out of the bag before cooking?
I have the same issue with Zatarains because mine almost always bust open. 1/2 white wine. Well I see my questioned somewhat answered, i didnt know not to open the bag, what can i do??
It appears to be the same material as a tea bag./ Some sort of synthetic fibre that does not fall apart and does not impart any flavour of its own/ The box doesn't say, but it looks like a boil in bag - bag.

A delicious southern staple that can easily be prepared in an This seafood boil calls for fully cooked crawfish, which are available at the seafood counters in many grocery stores. I used to use OLD BAY, but evidently they no longer make them.
This recipe can also be prepared by omitting crawfish and replacing with an additional 1lb. The last time I used this, my boyfriend and I both found our eyes burning and we were coughing our heads off. It is best to keep the seasonings contained in the bag when making things like shrimp Creole where you just want the flavor but not a bunch of seeds and stuff in your sauce. by 1/4 cup butter.
