I was so disappointed by The Fantom Menace that I skipped Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. This movie will have different effects on different people.

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith may not be *quite* as good as A Tale of Two Cities but it surely takes some kind of genius to take a Lucas prequel screenplay and turn it into a 5-star worthy novel; Lucas' movie, Revenge of the Sith is, afterall a laughable mockery of what originally made Star Wars so great. The movie does a good job of explaining how everything in the New Hope came about. (The cockpit is the Revenge of the Sith 'Eta-2' model, the exterior is a 'Delta-7' from Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.) Perhaps it was Lucas rediscovering the essence that inspired him to create Star Wars in the first place. Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2018. I call it the "Fulcrum Cut" in honor of Ahsoka Tano (my favorite character) joining up with all the happenings surrounding RoTS. That being said, all six films contain the essence of Star Wars, despite the fact that some of them, mainly the prequels, screwed up as films.

Watching the movie years later, this is now one of my favorite Star War movies.

I watched and read a lot of those negative reviews of this movie over the past several years.

However, I must say that that Revenge of the Sith recaptured the old glory of Star Wars while simultaneously uncovering a new and original sensation. Great film and best of the prequel trilogy. By the time Vader/Anakin took off his helmet, I was balling my eyes out.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith is a 2005 space opera film. Even starting as a little boy, it was established that Anakin thrived on approval and admiration, not wealth. From personal experiences, I connected with Anakin and it broke my heart to see his downfall and find out what caused it. If it's possible for you to know too many obscure details about "Doctor Who" continuity, he has proven it.
