It's still working great! It had been fine for about a month, but today it became undiscoverable and when I removed and tried to add it, no luck. I'm happy to report that this indeed is the case. I hereby give you permission to use some of these lower cost lights instead.The standard sized base (socket) for a light bulb in the US is E26 (E27 in Europe). For some time now, I've needed to integrate a "smart" plug into my Hue environment. I hold it for minutes at a time and still no discovery, it just flashes 5 seconds, stop, flashes again... never found, and letting go of the button at different points does nothing either.The trick is to initiate the "search for lights" within the Hue app first, and then press and hold the power button on the Smart+ Plug for about seven seconds. I bought this to schedule the use of a space heater during the evening hours and it's working great.Just curious if you have any of the Sylvania Smart+ bulbs that you've tried to pair with the Hue Bridge?From what I gather, Orsam/Sylvania has named and renamed several times (lightify, smart+) and always been zigbee certified (though not clear if Zigbee Light Link or not)I did read the Hue bridge will be upgraded to Zigbee 3.0 in the beginning of 2018, and is to be backwards compatible.If this is the case, I am hoping that by buying a Sylvania Smart+ bulb (that is Zigbee certified) will I am going to check out one of these.
