But you’ve got nothing on one ambitious fan, who has a room full of Harry Potter books he’s collected which are now worth well over £100,000.Peter Kenneth, from Chicago, Illinois, is known as the Potter Collector and has 700 rare books in his collection.The 30-year-old is the first collector in the world known to successfully collect every published translation and adaptation of the first Harry Potter book, The Philosopher’s Stone (released as Sorcerer’s Stone in the U.S).The data manager’s obsession began when he first received a copy of the book in 1999 from his grandmother.Since then he has become an expert in navigating the murky world of fake Harry Potter books.Peter, also a singer-songwriter, was always a shy child but the world of Hogwarts, potions, and spells helped him navigate his social skills and engage with other people.Becoming a collector allowed him to enrich his world.
