It was announced on 2017-02-02 [1] and was released on 2017-04-06 [2] .
You can Ascend super early giving you a giant military and science boost and eventually you can get the God-Emperor which frees up your Syncretic Evolution Civic. For your first Tradition choose the Domination Opener. Gaia worlds are amazing and the Livestock Pops create tons of food which can be sold, they take 1/4 the housing and they can be cheaply moved to your new colonies to quickly get over the 10 Pops needed to lose the Colony malice. Syncretic evolution is pretty much the BEST "normal" origin, IE excluding the ones that are obviously intended to be stronger than a normal start (ringworld, relic world, etc...). The Vultan are not bad but you will want to want to use your Relic to push for early aggression before anyone else can really start tech/eco booming. Otherwise, actually having them in your empire punishes you.Even a Xenophobic Primary race ought to be used to a symbiotic race they evolved alongside.Still, with 2.0, they are removing the Tradition penalty to Pops, (only planets) so who knows? It was totally fine for the early game, but once I started switching to a specialist economy instead of a worker one, the micro management got ridiculous. So I went bio path and had the slaves nerv stapled with serviles for +15% resources and they were chattel slavery for an additional +10%. It was totally fine for the early game, but once I started switching to a specialist economy instead of a worker one, the micro management got ridiculous. Next start building a Science ship in your Shipyard. If you have crappy researchers (especially Engineering or Sociology) higher a better one and switch him with your researcher. Don't be afraid to sell Artifacts, Consumer Goods or Alloys to fund all this, its important you have the money right away. Then it occured to me that the solution is to have single-Species Planets. Once you have enough Influence enact Map the Stars. Change the Slavery type of the abducted pops to Domestic Servitude.
This may not sound like much but it is essentially a multiplicative 25% bonus. Bit rough if you're new and just learning, but basically here's how Syncretic Evolution works. Therefore, upcoming games with a mere announcement and no discernible release date will not be included.2020 has a ton to look forward to...in the video gaming world. This will fix your Amenities problem as well as prevent you from having unemployed Pops (the unemployed Pop events are really annoying and can get expensive). 2020 will have something to satisfy classic and modern gamers alike.
4.9k. Free specialist jobs, moves robots over, robots cant work the job (due to not having droid or synth tech), infinite reshuffling. As far as I can tell there is no mechanic to tell the game "reserve these worker jobs for the slaves" to get their resource bonus. Fill this planet up quickly and get a Scientist to Assist Research. The only thing to decide now is what Ascension path you want to take. I tend to let the main species get a slight head start so they slightly outnumber servile species to take into account the political dissidents who will inevitably get sent to slave farms. If you don't have roughly equal numbers of each species on a planet, they will grow at different rates and potentially lead to population imbalances. I haven't tried it yet, but I imagine I will, before 2.0 comes out. This is what I did.
The Lifespan bonus isn't really 50 years because your leaders start older but it is still about a 20 year bonus which is really all you need because by the time they start dying from old age you will likely have found ways to increase their lifespan even further. But why should I bother? If you see an Archaeologist this would be a good time to pick one up especially if there some nice Archaeology sites near by. This is very very powerful and we will get back to this later.Weak: -2.5% Worker Basic Resource Output, -20% Army DamageYou don't want your pops doing worker jobs and Armies don't matter in Stellaris so this is a free trait. As I already said your Rocks will barely do worker jobs so this doesn't matter.Serviles: +10% Happiness, +10% Resources from Jobs, Cannot be Leaders, Rulers or SpecialistsThese are all great bonuses for Pops you want working as Chatel Slaves.Strong: +2.5% Worker Basic Resource, +20% Army DamageThis plus Serviles plus Strong means your Miners will be producing +27.5% Minerals right away. Ship captains must be responsible for thousands of people and billions worth of energy credits while out amongst the stars. Syncretic Evolution is a permanent civics.
